This is an ancient form of execution practiced by Vlad the Impaler, the 15th century Romanian prince, inspiration for Bram Stokerís Dracula. Sam Markham and his partner, forensic specialist Andy Schaap, try to find out when The Impaler will strike again, and they also try to find the motive behind the killings.
